We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, at the age of 82, Marilyn K. (Osner) Chance in Wichita, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer "Bud" Osner and Margaret Osner; her sister Rita; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Kallaus, Tom Strohl and Doug Hardie.
She is survived by: her husband Craig Chance; her children, Kellye Coppel (Joe) and Chris Neifert (Shonna); her stepdaughter Tiffani Patterson (Scott); her grandchildren, Courtney Mathis (Mitchell), Alli Coppel (Lauren), Jake Coppel (Rachel), Briawna Akins (Devin), Zander Neifert, Tiara Diaz (Addison) and Shelby Patterson; her great grandchildren, Lydia, Piper, Elliott, Ridge, Brecken, Lorelei and Sawyer; and her siblings, Anne Kallaus, Pat Paul (Doug), Theresa Stark (Harold), Laura Franzen (Rick), Martha Albers (Ron), Janet Hardie, Carol Heimerman (Bob), Francie Wendling (Phil) and Mike (Leann). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Downing & Lahey West Mortuary (10515 W Maple St, Wichita, KS 67209). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (645 N 119th St W, Wichita, KS 67235). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
