He was predeceased by: his parents, John Babich and Helen Babich; his wife Guillermina "Wilma" Babich; the mother of his children Margarette Babich; his siblings, William Babich and Kathryn James; and his granddaughter Katherine Babich.
He is survived by: his children, Cooper Babich (Jennifer), Adrian Kelly (Patrick) and Aislinn Reno (Chris); his grandchildren, Alex Babich, Sam Reno, Caroline Reno, Quinn Kelly and Mae Kelly; his siblings, David Babich (Joyce), Carol McCollum, Joan Barrier, Paul Babich and Alice Simon (Randy); Peter "Joe" Grasser II (Kimberly), Eugenie Harris (Halston), Felix Grasser (Marissa) and Peter "P. J." Grasser III (Zhaoxia).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the John and Helen Babich Scholarship for Student Teachers in Social Studies or English at Wichita State University.
