We announce the death of Mark Wayne Scott (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 61. Mark will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Scott and Cruz M. Scott (Rodriguez); his daughter Summer Dawn Scott; and his grandson Tevin Collins. He is survived by: his children, Sara Scott, Anthony and Isaac Scott; his grandchildren, Joseph Collins, Gabriel Collins, Deja Scott, Raelee Collins, Tarron Collins, Titas Collins and Summer Grace; his great grandchild IJ Scott; and his siblings, Ruth Bohlken (Roy), Carla Sherman and Steve Scott. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to: The Mark Scott Memorial Fund, in which all proceeds will be directed for his two sons and their future endeavors.
