She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" E. Fondren; her son Jeffery A. Fondren; her parents, Theo Callison and Hattie Callison; and her siblings, Bill, Elaine and Tim.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara Barnes (Steven), Gary Marsh and Michelle Turner (Mike); her grandchildren, Johonna (Amar), Dalton (Angela), Devehn (Caila), Brianna (Buny) and Addison; her great grandchildren, Genevieve, Hattie and Tennley; her great great grandchild Theo; and her sister Wanda Van Zandt of Ft. Worth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Marlene's memory to a charity of their choice.
