He is survived by: his sisters, Leona Schauer and Marion Koeppen; his wife Linda Schaefer; his daughters, Christine Tuck (Martin) of Wichita, KS, Jennifer Sawyer (Dan) of Aurora, CO and Laurel Freyre (Juan) of Riverview, FL; his grandchildren, Monica McGarry (Max), Juan Freyre II, Emmanuel Freyre, Elizabeth Jenkins (Noah), Marlow Freyre and Amanda Tuck; and his great grandchildren, Jordan and Callen.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (600 N Greenwich Rd, Wichita, KS 67206).
