He is survived by : his parents, Chuck Stowell and Elizabeth Stowell; his siblings, Will Stowell (Rachel), Ben Stowell and Emily Bryant (Taylor); his nephews, Ben and Ronan; his niece Beth; his uncles, Gene Stowell (Diane) and Bernie Herpin (Linda); and his aunt Carol Tucker (John).

A memorial has been established with Hope Community Church – Middle School Ministries.
