It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Wayne Keyser of Wichita, Kansas, born in Sedgwick, Kansas, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Rex and Irma Small Keyser; his sister LorRetta Meyer; and his grandsons, Max Byram and Gregorio Banuelos.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Keyser of Wichita; his children, Eric Knight (Kammie) of Lawrence, Laura Banuelos (Greg) of Wichita, Colleen Miser of Topeka, Charlota Ess (Chris) of Canton, Georgia, Melanie Byram (Harry) of Council Grove, Rebecca Wilson (Mark) of Derby and Nancy Shade (Bill) of Leavenworth; and his brother Larry Keyser of Overland Park. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and forty-one great-grandchildren.
