Michael G. Meyer II Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael G. Meyer II of Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael George and Phyllis Meyer (Arrowsmith); his wife Esther Eileen Van Royen; his sister Betty Zanderberg; and his stepbrother Kenny Bartunek.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Jo (Paul Smith) of Haysville, Kansas, Patty Lynn (Dave Tucker) of Eureka, Michael George, III (Ruth Meyer) of Valley Center and Mark Isaac (Annette Meyer) of Harper; his siblings, Ray Meyer of Huntsville, Richard Meyer of Haysville and Kathleen Blackburn of British Columbia, Canada; and his stepbrothers, Tony Bartunek and Jimmy Bartunek of Texas. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Koup Family Funeral Home (121 N Oak St, Eureka, KS 67045).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
