He is survived by: his wife Becky Schwemmer; his son Kasey Schwemmer; and his brother Jerry Schwemmer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike's memory to LAPP (a nonprofit and no-kill animal shelter) or to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
