He was predeceased by: his parents, Seaf Burton and Irene Burton (Haberer); and his siblings, John Burton, Dorothy Pritz, Bud Burton, Mildred Graham, Wilma Bjorklund, Alvin Burton, Wanda Mosher and Robert Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his son Jeffrey Scott Burton; and his nephews, Dan Burton (Terri) and David Burton (Cathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cozine Life Events Center (11500 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67206). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at the same location.
