He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin S. Dodez and Rebekah Schultz Dodez; his stepmother Sylvia Dodez; and his parents-in-law, Phillip and Theresa Sandblade.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Dodez of Columbus; his son Phillip Orin Dodez (Michelle); his granddaughter Athena Dodez of Fall River; and his daughter Rebekah Dodez of Denver, Colorado..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Beckwith Mortuary (916 Main St, Larned, KS 67550-2533). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Chapel, Sacred Heart Parish Center (1111 State St, Larned, KS 67550).
