He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob Balzer and Olga Balzer (Winter); and his sisters, Mavis Vix, Marcella Balzer and Helen Simmons.
He is survived by : his children, Rochelle Funk (Myron R.) of Wichita and Doug Balzer of Lakewood, Colorado; his grandsons, Robert Orman Funk of LaCrosse and Daniel Jacob Funk of Lowell, Arkansas; and his sisters, Rhoda Gurin of Denver, Arva Duetchendorf (Dave) of Newton and Rita Smith of Wichita.
