He was predeceased by: his parents, L. W. Chuck and June McGovern; his wife Marty McGovern; and his nephew Derek McGovern. He is survived by: his brothers, Michael and Casey McGovern; his nieces and nephews, Tristen, Drake and Lauren; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ty, Chesnee, Erica, Maverick, Kohlten and Brooklyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
