He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Schye and Rosalie Schye; his wife Meredith Huggins-Schye; his sister Ann Drew; and his nephew Jeff Funke.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jon Schye (Pat) and Susan Dodge (Stanley). He is also survived by his family, friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (12100 E 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67206). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
