He was predeceased by: his parents, Visitacion Vazquez and Leonarda Vazquez; and his wife Delia Vazquez. He is survived by: his children, Lourdes Vazquez (Daniel Dillinger) of Andover, KS, Delia M. Vazquez (Juan F. Lopez) of Ann Arbor, MI and Peter Vazquez (Gladys) of San Juan; his grandchildren, Nerideliann Marrero (Javier), Barbara Cristina Vazquez (Philip), Lourdes Marie Miller (Bradley), Maria Esperanza Lopez (Esperancita), Maria Cristina Lopez (Cristi) and Emmanuel Toro; and his great grandchildren, Alanna Marrero, Genevieve Miller, Daisy Toro and Noah Miller.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church (12626 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67206).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church, or the Catholic Care Center in Wichita and Bel Aire, Kansas, where Pedro's benevolent spirit can continue to aid those in need. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Pedro Vazquez 's name.
