She was predeceased by: her children, Richard "Rick" Wheeler, Vincent Wheeler and Mary Katherine Wheeler; her brother Ralph Rudy; and her parents, Arthur Rudy and Alice "Gene" Rudy.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Wheeler; her children, Stephen Wheeler, Julie Lienhard, Karen Frye and Jennifer Wheeler; her grandchildren, Melissa Jarvis, Bridget Hightower (Tom), Hannah Lienhard, Joseph Lienhard (Tristin), Daniel Lienhard (Lucy), Samantha Rice (Colton), Madison Frye, Kennedy Frye, Tripp Morrison, Wheeler Morrison and Tate Morrison; her great grandchildren, Brooke Hightower, Blair Hightower, Wesley Lienhard and Bodhi Rice; and her sister Patricia Ann Rudy-Baese.
A rosary was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Downing & Lahey East Mortuary (6555 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (124 N Roosevelt St, Wichita, KS 67208).
