She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Shidler and Mary Elizabeth Shidler (Lawson); her husbands, John D. Schneider and Kenneth A. Brothers of Winfield; and her siblings, Raymond, Carlyle, Lloyd, John Shidler, Maxine Wendel and Pauline Shriver.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca (Mark) of Appleton, WI; her stepdaughter Patricia Hill (Robert) of Partridge, KS; her grandchildren, Erin Sjostrom (Tyler), Andrew Cummings (Kelsey) and Amy Arvold (Aaron); and her great grandchildren, Ellis, Theo Sjostrom and William Cummings.
A memorial has been established in Phyllis' name with Tisdale Methodist Church, 17507 US-160, Winfield, KS 67156.
