He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauren Albertus and Louise Emma Vernon. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Lee Vernon; his children, Michaela Dawn Vernon of Wichita and Paul Richard Vernon of St. Charles, Missouri; his sisters, Donita Mains, Karen Dolezal (Rick) and Chandra Mason (Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Hill (Judy) and Roger Hill. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (1101 N River Blvd, Wichita, KS 67203).
In lieu of flowers, memorials been established with Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (1101 N. River Blvd, Wichita, KS 67203), and Senior Services, Inc. Meals on Wheels Program (200 S. Walnut, Wichita, KS 67213). The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Raymond Paul Vernon 's name.
