The passing of Reva Pyle in Wichita, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 98. Though Reva may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Reva touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd S. Alleman and Harriet Alleman (Packard); her husband Ed Pyle; and her sister Melva Ulsaker. She is survived by: her daughter Patty Oberg (Ron) of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Landon Oberg (Carly) of Wichita, KS, Ellie Ballou (Brad) of Roeland Park, KS and Chase Oberg (Caroline) of Lincoln, NE; and her stepsons, Tom Pyle of McPherson, KS, John Pyle (Gloria) of El Dorado, KS and Bill Pyle of Highlands Ranch, CO. She is also survived by 20 step-grandchildren and 51 step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Eastminster Presbyterian Church (1958 N Webb Rd, Wichita, KS 67206). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at 1601 Cemetery Dr, McPherson, KS 67460.
