It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Luke in Wichita, Kansas, born in Mulberry, Kansas, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard and Hazel Dorthea Luke (Spoonhour); his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Luke; his sons, Richard "Jeff" Luke and Todd; his son-in-law Thomas "Tom" Julian; his siblings, David Luke and Billie (Bill Krehbiel); and his stepgrandson Gregory "Boo" Schmidt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Julian of Wichita and Meggan (Scott Eilert) of Manhattan, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Sondra Luke-Pachomski of Wichita; his grandchildren, Shelby (Justin Klein), Tessa (Sean Gaither), Teddi Luke, Taylor Julian, Danielle (Keynan Williams), MaKenna Eilert, Hailey Eilert, Yashaun Thomas and Ryan Schmidt; and his great grandchildren, Summer, Caroline, Parker, Ivy and Ryzell.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1750 North Tyler Road, Wichita, Kansas 67212.
