He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Schroer (Bullet) and Elsie Schroer; and his grandparents, Albert, Alice Schroer of Lost Spring, KS, Henry and Mable Melcher of Americus, KS..

He is survived by: his close friends, John Birchfield and Dwight Henry; and his sister Donna Schroer of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
