She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Phelan and Lorraine Phelan (Robl); her husband Michael McCarthy; her brother Tom Phelan; and her sister-in-law Gladys Phelan.
She is survived by: her son Joseph McCarthy (Megan) of Wamego, KS; her grandchildren, Hayden, Alana, Madelyn and Nora; and her brothers, Patrick Phelan (Barbara) of Meeker, CO, Dennis Phelan (Jacque) of Holyrood, Mark Phelan of Holyrood and John Phelan (Carolyn) of Holyrood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
