Robert David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Paton and David Paton; and his grandchildren, Chris Paton and Ivy Owens. He is survived by: his wife June Paton of Wichita; his sons, Robert Jr. (Debbie) and Greg; his stepchildren, Nancy Dinell (David), John "Scott" Houston (Patti), Judi Gunther, Rebecca Jordan (Mark Jacob) and Steffanie Owens (Martin); and his pet Pumpkin. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be givento: Amazing Grace Baptist Church and Caring Hands Humane Society in his name.
