He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Deffner and Alice Deffner; and his sister Judy Curtin Mobley. He is survived by: his wife Georgiana Deffner; and his sons, Robert Sharp (Yvonne), Tracy Sharp, Matthew Deffner (Elizabeth) and Timothy Deffner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Andrews Lutheran Church (2555 N Hyacinth Ln, Wichita, KS 67204). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wichita Park Cemetery (3424 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67220).
