He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Dunlavy and Merle Dunlavy; his sister Norma; and his brother-in-law Leland Hoch. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Maggie" Dunlavy; and his sons, Scott (Shonda Dunlavy), Steve (Lisa Dunlavy) and Shane (Trisha Dunlavy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (6100 E Central Ave Suite 203, Wichita, KS 67208). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (1806 N Oliver St, Wichita, KS 67208).
