He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Giebler and Elizabeth Giebler (Karlin); his wife Viola Marie Giebler (Malsam); and his siblings, Francis Giebler, Charlotte Giebler and Betty Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Giebler (Polly) of Wichita and Susan Peavler of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Annie Cummings (Jeffrey), Elizabeth Giebler and Robert Giebler II; and his great grandchild Christopher James.
