He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Vern and Thelma Nadene Hays; his daughter Julia Hibbs; and his brother Dale Hays. He is survived by: his wife Ann Hays of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Mikka, Cody and Bryson; his sisters, Nadene Mittman (Sam), Janice Elder (Jerry) and Dinah Mohesky (Mark); his sister-in-law Carol Hays; and his brother Rick Hays (Meg). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
