He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Laird and Mildred Laird. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Laird; his children, Jake Quade (Jessica), John Quade (Kelsey) and Lindsay Pahls (Adam); and his sister Linda Hannon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren who will miss their "Papa".
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to League 42, an organization reflecting Ron's passion for baseball and community involvement. A memorial has been established with: League 42 Leslie Rudd Learning Center, 1212 E 17th Street N, Wichita, KS 67214.
