He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Irion and Mildred Maness (Joe); and his brother R. Darryl Irion. He is survived by: his wife Floy Raye; his children, Douglas A. Irion (Karen Lauritsen) of San Luis Obispo, California and Melissa L. Peugeot; and his granddaughters, Paige and Lauren Peugeot of Prairie Village, Kansas..
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Westwood Presbyterian Church (8007 W Maple St, Wichita, KS 67209).
