He was predeceased by: his mother Adeline Lucile; his stepfather Woodruff Halsey Schley; his father Louis Frederick; his stepmother Jan Gretchen Matthews; his grandparents, Ralph and Minnie Matthews; and his brother Donald Eugene Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ann Matthews (Schmidt); and his children, Mark Ronald Matthews (Vicki) of North Barrington and Kim Michele Matthews of Wichita, Kansas..
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Downing & Lahey East Mortuary (6555 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206).
