We announce the death of Ronald Mendell (Wichita, Kansas), born in Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 79. Ronald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Mendell (McCullough). He is survived by: his father Archie Mendell; his wife Nancy Mendell (Torres); his children, Regan Poynter (Jon Oetting), Michael Maisel (Megan), Paul Maisel (Amy) and Ryan Maisel; his grandchildren, Sam, Emma, Sophia, Noelle and Olive Maisel; his great grandchild Pearl Maczko; his siblings, Linda Fredricks, Richard Mendell (Kerry) and Roger Mendell (Cindy Berry); his siblings-in-law, Gilberto and Bernadette Delgado; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Memorial contributions in Ron's memory can be made to Meals on Wheels of Wichita/Andover and/or Good Shepherd Hospice.
