Though Rosa Julia may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hector Rivera-Ortiz; and her parents, Manuel Maldonado and Josefina Hernandez. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Medina (Bert) and Lourdes Rivera; and her sisters, Elfreida Maldonado (Alejandro Ortiz), Carmen Maldonado and Leticia Maldonado. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1321 N Stratford St, Wichita, KS 67206). A Mass was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
