She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar and Phyllis Rose Brown (Jamison); and her brothers, Myrl Brown and Phillip Cope. She is survived by: her husband Willie Chaple of Wichita; her children, Jennifer Young (David) of Newton, Michelle Merritt (Mark) of Missouri and Brian Funk (Megan) of Newton; her stepchildren, Sarah Johnico of Wichita, Aubrey Chaple of Wichita, Zachary Chaple (Angie) of McPherson and Rachel Hassan (Abu) of Park City; and her siblings, Mandy Botterweck (Terry) of Newton, Douglas Spencer (Frances) of Kihei Maui, Stanley Brown (Jill) of Phoenix and Jerry Brown of Arkansas. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
