He was predeceased by: his son Angel Hujing. He is survived by: his parents, Randy Hujing and Karen Hujing of Whitewater; his wife Emily; his brother Jared Hujing (Olivia) of Denver, CO; his children, Avery, Ryelyn Hujing and Curry Hujing; his brother-in-law Jason Davis (Isabelle) of Topeka; and his nephew Martin Davis of Topeka. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

“Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Ryan coached my son, Kyle for 2 summers on Mid-Kansas. I didn't know him well except for brief words before or after a game, but I know Kyle really liked him as a coach. Ryan was reffing Kyle's college game a month ago, and after the game, I saw Ryan with his arm around Kyle talking to him. He was giving him advice and encouragement. I was so thankful to Ryan! He will be greatly missed!”
