She was predeceased by: her husband Melvyn Steven; and her parents, Earl H. Carter and Aldine M. Carter. She is survived by: her children, Tami Steven (Robert Strange) and Toby Steven; and her sister Sue Friedel. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
