He was predeceased by: his parents, Suryanarayana Pappu and Subadramma Pappu; his former wife Subbalaxmi Pappu; his wife Seetha Pappu; his son Krishna Pappu; his grandsons, Krsna and Sanjai Ramachandran; and his siblings, V. N. Rao, Jagadamba, Suryakantam and Appalanarsamma.
He is survived by: his daughter Padmaja (Prem Ramachandran); his grandson Arjun Ramachandran of Wichita, KS; his son Rohit (Natasha Pappu); his granddaughter Minerva Pappu of St. Louis, MO; his brother Kodanda Ramam Pappu; his nieces and nephews, Rajamani, Sailaja, Usha and Kiran; his brother Hanumantha Rao (Subbalaxmi Pappu); and his nieces and nephews, Surya, Aruna and Seshukumari. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
