It is with sadness that the passing of Sharon Kay Vannoy in Wichita, Kansas is shared. Sharon, born on April 22, 1949, passed away on August 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Keith and Opal Irene Berry (Seley); her husband Dean Vannoy; and her sister Linda Jean Berry. She is survived by: her daughters, Erin Teeter (Shannon) of Wichita, KS and Rena Lawrence (Bryan) of Fort Worth, TX; her sister Barbara Montague of Knob Noster, MO; her grandchildren, Lauren Roland (Christian), Brienne Sosa (Jonny), Aidan Teeter and Evan Lawrence; and her great grandchildren, Khalea Roland and Noémi Sosa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations online to the Wichita Childrens Home's Building Hope Campaign, which just broke ground the week of Mom's death and personifies one of the causes most meaningful to her. An important piece of this project is the Center for Children's Healing, a "unique space dedicated to addressing the effects of childhood trauma, violence, grief, and loss."Donations made be made here: https://wch.org.
