We are sad to announce that, on June 25, 2024, at the age of 87, Shirley A. Barton (Wichita, Kansas), born in Pampa, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Shirley is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Shirley's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Silor and Allie Silor; her brothers, Conway and Bob Silor; and her significant other Bob Barton.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Preboth (Pat) of Wichita, Kansas; her grandchildren, Christopher Preboth (Amber), Christina Kubish (Philip) and Carissa Bezdek (Ryan); and her sister Betty Borgardt of Hammond, Louisiana.. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
