He is survived by: his parents, Earl David and Barbara J. Kirk; his brothers, David, Kevin (Karyn) and John (Katherine); his children, Lillian, Caleb and Brooks (Alysa); and his grandchildren, Kira, Covy and Cooper.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Downing & Lahey East Mortuary (6555 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206).

A memorial has been established with Epilepsy Foundation, 3540 Crain Hwy., Ste. 675, Bowie, MD 20716.
