She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Smith; her parents, Andrew Marteney and Mary Marteney; and her siblings, William Marteney, Mike Marteney, Margaret Noe and Tony Marteney.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Howe (Eric), Tonya Osterbuhr (Kevin), Brandon Smith and Jesse Smith; her grandchildren, Matthew Hunsberger Jr., Kaitlyn Osterbuhr, Zean Osterbuhr, Astra Howe and Lucas Smith; her sister Elaine Nickelson (Roland "Nick"); and her sister-in-law Diane Marteney. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In keeping with Susan's generous spirit and lifelong devotion to her faith, in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution has been established with St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
