She was predeceased by: her parents, Justina Smith (Campbell) and Willard J. Smith; her partner Kathy Hill; her sister Shirley; and her brother-in-law Ronald.
She is survived by: her nieces, Sherrie Zimmerman, Rachelle O'Malley and Renee Petrovic. She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends.
