He is survived by: his wife Gala McAlister; his daughters, Julie Leis (Doug) of Wellington and Heather Shank (Scott) of Eastborough; his grandchildren, Mallory Poffinbarger (Devan), Avery Barker, Zachary Leis, Jay Shank (Anna) and Ellie Shank; and his sisters, Judith Kelly (Bruce) of Colleyville, Rebecca Hines of Denton and Patricia McAlister of Texas.
