He was predeceased by: his stepfather Tom Kating; his mother Geraldine Kating; his sister Janice Kating; and his nephew David Kating. He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Kating; his children, Jacob Kating, Jeremi Hanks (Teresa), David Hanks (Nece), Richard Hanks (Kimmie) and Amiee Romines (Bill); his sisters, Pam Reynolds (Derek) and Sherry Wagoner; and his grandchildren, Shannon, Erin, Billy, Angel, Leah, Ari, Collin, Carly of Harrison, R. J. and Briley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
