Winston Mays wrote a sympathy message

“Doctor Brown was a mentor to me as a young Black male and he never even knew it. My father died when I was an infant. I latched onto Dr Browns image and watched him, I studied his actions and movements. I watched the way he walked, talked and everything about him without ever saying a word to him. We never had a conversation, but I knew that when I grew up I wanted to carry myself just like him. God bless you Doctor Brown, and Thank you so so much. Winston W. Mays II”
