It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Val G Gottschalk (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendelin Gottschalk and Monica Gottschalk; and his son David Gottschalk. He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his children, Marti McAvoy (James) of Edmond, OK and Jim Gottschalk; his grandchildren, Samatha McAvoy, Monica, Ida and Eugene Gottschalk; and his sister Wilma Baier of Garden City, KS..
