He was predeceased by: his brother Emilio Mejia; his grandparents, Charlotte Blacksmith and Larry Wayne Brown; his uncles, Johnny Ladd Edwards and Sergio Perez; and his godmother Teresa Perez.
He is survived by: his parents, Rafael Perez and April Perez; his siblings' children, Nevaeh, Catalina, Elise, Nayeli, Zendaya, Emilian, Brandon, Emilio, Angelo, Rafael Jr., Elias, Isaiah and Santana; his daughter Aaliyana Perez; his siblings, Rafael Perez, Desiree Mejia, Amanda Mejia and Reighna Perez; and his grandparents, Rafael and Maria Perez. He is also survived by five nieces; eight nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ridgepoint Church (8000 W 21st St, Wichita, KS 67205). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:45 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
