She is survived by: her sons, Max, Lloyd and Danny Hoover; and her stepchildren, Charles Beckwith, Jr., Kenneth Beckwith (Joan), Phyllis Kingdon and Penny Davis. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to an organization of your choosing in Velda's memory.
