She was predeceased by : her sister Marietta Wix. She is survived by : her husband Eric Charters; her daughter Kelly Buehler (David); her stepsons, Eric Charters II of Seattle and Matthew Charters-MacLean (Monika) of Lillington; her grandchildren, Kambry, Olivia, Gavyn, Benjamin, Timothy, Sarah, Daniel, Emma, John and Ethan; her niece Amy Dokken (Dan); her great-niece Madeline Mairs; her great-nephew Harrison Mairs; and her nephew Jeff Wix. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (3642 N Ridge Rd, Wichita, KS 67205). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Cemetery-Schulte (11000 W Southwest Blvd, Wichita, KS 67215).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School 3642 N. Ridge Rd, Wichita, KS 67205.
