We are sad to announce that, on January 8, 2026, Waldo H. Gerards of Wichita, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gerards and Martha Gerards; his siblings, George Gerards, Jr. and Marjorie Meyersick; and his son-in-law Terry Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Lotus Gerards; his children, Steven Gerards (Sharon), Sandra Johnson, Kathy Malcom (Randy), Karen Harris (David), Donna Hanna (Martin) and David Gerards (Mary Ann); his grandchildren, Megan, Savannah, Amanda, Natalie, Michelle, Laura, Nicholas, Maggie, Sarah and Bridget; and his stepgrandchildren, Laura and Cal. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
