He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Xavier Kerschen and Anna Scheer Kerschen; his wife Jill Alicia Morgan; his siblings, Sister Remigia Kerschen, Loretta Voth (Leon "Bud"), Louise Bestgen (Robert), Grace Nilles (A. J.), Alfred Kerschen (Mardella), Mary Alice Gatz (Bernard), Sister Lucille Kerschen, Marlene Kerschen and Genevieve Kerschen; and his great grandchild Christian Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Kerschen, Tom Kerschen, Laura Dean and Linda Waters (John); his grandchildren, Courtney Huff (Danny), Shelby Knifley (David), Kirsten Sponsel (John), Jessica Campbell (Bryan), Alicia Constable (Sebastian), Joey Dean (Molly), Derek Dean (Liz), Megan Slusser (Colton), Danah Dean (Colson Riemann), Kenzie Dean (Dakota Dugan), Heidi Hudson and Maudie Jo Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Cyrus, Scott, Gabe, Briana, Koby of Jordynn, MJ, Hendrix, Julian, Bella, Creed, Dodge, Asher, Lucas, Norma Jean and Matthew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (861 N Socora St, Wichita, KS 67212). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
